WINZ Subsidies Available
Do you need a helping hand to send your kids on our programmes these holidays? We believe there should be no barrier for children to participate in our programmes, so WINZ subsidies are available to approved families.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are WINZ subsidies available?
Yes they are. As an approved holiday programme, parents who are eligible can access the OSCAR subsidy from Work and Income. If this is you, contact oscar@ymcaauckland.org.nz as we need to complete Part C of the application form, and you will need to pay a 20% deposit. There are different subsidy rates depending on your eligibility – check out www.winz.govt.nz for more information.
How do I make a booking?
You can download the AimyMe App or use our online booking system - click here to visit.
You will receive a confirmation email with your programme dates, drop off location and information on what you need to bring.
What clothing/equipment do we need to bring?
Comfortable clothing that children can move in is best, along with a sunhat. A set of space clothes is always handy to have in their bag. They should bring a water bottle, morning tea and lunch every day.
Do you provide lunch?
No, lunch is not included.

Sign in & Collection process
- Children must be signed in and out each day by an authorised person.
- Please ensure that you have added all approved persons who are permitted to collect your child to their profile.
- Any non-approved persons will be unable to collect your child until we call to confirm that this is permitted.
- We will need to approve this, as it is dependant on the child's age and other information.
