Make this Easter Holiday Unforgettable with The Y: Exciting Activities for Kids
The first term of school seems to get busier every year – with good weather comes sports, camps, fairs, and extra-curricular activities, along with balancing a new teacher, new friends, and maybe even a new school. If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed with how to give your children the best holiday, relax and read on – we’ve got you covered.

Two overnight camps options on offer
To give your child a life-changing opportunity for growth, exploration, to gain confidence and new friends, our camps are a safe, supportive and super fun option for your children. Our experienced staff are highly trained to work with children and the outdoors, and they love giving kids amazing holiday breaks. Choose from either a three-night break at Whangaparāoa's Shakespear Lodge, or a four-night break in Hunua's Camp Adair that are jam-packed with activities. Both options are excellent value, with all activities, accommodation and food included, with the option of transport to and from camp included as well.
They will meet new friends and get the opportunity to try new things throughout their time. They will come out having learnt a lot about themselves, found inner confidence and created lifelong memories. To make the budget stretch further, OSCAR funding is available for camps to support the cost to families. Kids will love the climbing walls, archery, the hikes, and just getting to explore their independence. Night-time activities are tailored to the vibe and needs of each group, including games, star-gazing, camp outs, movie nights and dance parties.

We loved this simple but heartfelt message from one of our past campers. "There were lots of outdoor activities that enables to help build your confidence and self esteem. Also overcoming your fears, but to also respect your peers".
