Do your kids love basketball? Need quality coaching to develop your tamariki's basketball skills and game?
At The Y (formerly known as YMCA) Basketball Academy, our experienced coaches will help them develop their
individual and team skills through ball skills, group drills, modified games, and small group coaching.
Each term, we have two special events:
Assessment Day: Our coaches observe and assess each child’s skills through a variety of skills and drills. A certificate with their skill progression will be handed out in the last session.
Tournament Day: On the last session of each term, we run a mini tournament. This is a fun day where kids can showcase the skills they have learned over the term.

- Thursday 3:45pm-4:30pm (5-6 years old)
- Thursday 4:30pm-5:30pm (7-8 years old)
- Thursday 5:30pm-6:30pm (9-12 years old)
Saturday:
- Saturday 8:00 am - 9:00 am (9-12 year old)
- Saturday 9:00 am - 10:00 am (7-8 years old)
- Saturday 10:15 am - 11:00 am (5-6 years old)
