If performing tricks on the trampoline, having a blast on the bouncy castle and scaling our climbing frames sounds like your child’s dream day, use us as your kids birthday party venue.

Here at The Y Ellerslie Recreation Centre, we host awesome parties that kids love, and they can be structured around a variety of themes, from sports to your favorite movie.

Our kids birthday party venues host celebrations on weekends, for two hours, which includes the full use of our kitchen facilities. Kids can spend an hour taking part in our provided activities, and then another hour having a great time eating cake! It’s no wonder we’re such a popular kids party venue!

Convenient Weekend times:

- Saturdays; 12.30-2.30pm & 3.00-5.00pm

Parties run through the year from end of January through to the weekend before Christmas. Public Holiday weekends can be booked pending on staff availability.

FAQ's

Q. When can we come in to set up?

A. You are welcome to come 15 minutes early to start setting up for your party.

Q. How many tables and chairs are there?

A. In total we have 6 tables and 30 chairs.

Q. Can we set up tables and eat in the stadium?

A. No, we ask that children be seated in the kitchen to eat. Our kitchen space can comfortably accommodate 30 children.

Q. Can we play music?

A. Yes, we have a speaker and music available. Our speaker has Bluetooth, so if you have music you would like to play from your phone then you can connect this to our speaker. Alternatively, we supply a USB, which has kid’s songs on it.

Q. Can we hang a piñata?

A. You can hang a piñata from our basketball hoops or our gymnastics rings. Please ensure that all items inside are wrapped and that there are no sugar-coated lollies.

Q. Can we hang decorations?

A. You can hang decorations however, you can’t use anything that will damage or leave markings on the wall. Also, whatever you put up must be taken down and taken away with you.

Q. Do you have pots, cutlery, serving plates ect

A. We have 1 pot and some serving dishes. It may be in your best interest to bring your own if you wish to cook food on site.

Q. What facilities do you have in your kitchen?

A. We have a fridge-freezer, oven, stove, microwave and boiling water urn.

Q. What do we do with our rubbish?

A. Customers are responsible for their own rubbish. They must bring their own rubbish bags and all rubbish must be taken away with them. This includes decorations such as balloons.
