The junior basketball classes at The Y Ellerslie Recreation Centre are designed for children who love to learn & develop their skills and gameplay, providing them a good fundamental knowledge of the rules of the game while keeping it fun & engaging!
Our programme teaches children ball-handling skills, drills, shooting, and passing, building their confidence, teamwork skills, and overall fitness.
Join the Y Panthers Club
Our Y Panthers Basketball Club for kids provides both basketball lessons and the chance to participate in competitive basketball tournaments. Offering basketball for kids aged 5–15 years, making it a perfect after-school activity!

Times & Pricing
$14.00 per child per session
- Monday 4:00 - 5:30pm (age 5 - 10)
- Monday 5:30 - 7:00pm (age 9 - 13)
- Tuesday 4:00 - 5:30pm (5 -15)
Beginners & Intermediate classes are suitable for children aged 5 to 15 years old.
