Sometimes you want the concrete jungle of the city centre; other times you just want peaceful native bush! Located on the doorstep of the stunning Hunua Ranges, The Y (formerly YMCA) Camp Adair is ideal for any group wanting to hire a venue in a stunning area in the Auckland region.

Groups looking to get together for a weekend away or an extended period can hire our facilities. The Y Camp Adair is available for event hire or private function hire throughout the year. Groups that have used us in the past include church groups, community groups, corporate groups, events, parties, family functions/reunions and weddings, international groups, sports teams and youth groups. Hiring an outdoor venue is easy with The Y Camp Adair (after all, it’s what we’re known for).

Facilities At Camp Adair

On-Site Accommodation

Camp Adair can offer on-site accommodation for between 40 to 374 people in cabin style accommodation with bunks. The accommodation is separated into three self contained villages each with their own kitchen, sleeping accommodation, dining hall, showers, toilets and camp fire area.

Halls

Camp Adair offers several halls suitable for a range of purposes. The recreation hall has a full basketball court and the Main Lodge Hall has a small stage area. Any of the three dining halls could be adapted for a range of set-ups including formal dining or conference seating. Hirers may decorate spaces for their requirements.

Fields, Open Spaces & Native Bush

Situated on 100 acres Camp Adair has a range of fields and wide open spaces. Just a short walk from the main buildings guests can find themselves in tree covered groves or up hillsides enjoying spectacular views down the Hunua Valley.
