Are you looking for part time work? We are looking for vibrant Customer Care Specialist to join our team at Sir William Jordan Recreation Centre on a part time basis working from 9am to 3pm 5 days a week.

What will you be doing?

  • Running birthday parties and preparing an activities plan
  • Proactively manage behaviour within the event
  • Assist in the completion of set up and pack down of equipment and general clean up Handle all reception services and customer queries whilst creating a welcoming and friendly environment
  • Confidently drive retail sales for the centre, utilising customer information to support up-sell options
  • Deliver excellence in customer service at all times to maximise customer satisfaction and retention
  • Maximise cross-selling opportunities with all programmes offered at the Centre
  • Ensure all administration tasks and data entry are performed in a timely and accurate manner including

What experience/skills do you need?

  • Experience working with children e.g. babysitting, coaching
  • Current first aid certificate
  • Minimum six (6) months Customer Service experience
  • Minimum six (6) months Sales experience, proven sales experience, with ability to up-sell and cross sell products and services
  • Computer Savvy and competent in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work independently or work well in a team across all cultures and ages with YMCA
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Has an empathetic approach, respects confidentiality and the privacy of others.
